Each item containing an RFID tag can be uniquely identified when it is returned. CA Sort can identify the return as a soil return or clean return. Soil can be read one piece at a time, through a tunnel, through a vacuum or through a bullet vacuum. Each soil count method provides unique benefits and gives you the ability to know exactly what was returned.
- Take the guess work out of staking like pieces
By placing a work station near where the pieces are folded, the operator does not need to know each item visually. The CA Sort software will inform them what they have as the RFID tag is read and can tell them how many pieces of that type have been stacked. This scanning point can also designate that the item is now available in clean inventory.
- Control piece counts and contents of each bundle
The operator making up bundles will know exactly what each bundle contains and the software will eliminate mistakes. Once a bundle is complete, a label with the cintents and a barcode will be printed that cross references the individual piece to the bundle creating a "family of tags". The creation of the bundle moves the items from available clean inventory to a bundle ready for use.
- Load building electronically driven to the customer level
The load sheet is transferred electronically from the Route Accounting Software to the CA Sort Software. CA Sort then assits in pulling the correct bundles fro each route and customer. A scan of the barcode label assigns the entire bundle to the appropriate route or customer. CA Sort provides the ability to break bundles if the quantity needed is less than a full bundle.
